Firefighters put out small fire at Convention Center

Firefighters responded to an electrical fire at the Orange County Convention Center Saturday night. Officials say the small fire happened around 10:30 p.m. inside the North Building at the Convention Center. Once on scene, firefighters reported smoke on the fourth floor, and a small electrical fire was located in a nearby mechanical room. Officials say more than 20 firefighters and several Convention Center egineers were needed because of how large the building is.
