Two Charleston firefighters were injured Friday after a fire engine crashed while responding to a call about a car that slid into a creek off icy Sugar Creek Drive. Both firefighters from Engine No. 458 were transported to the hospital. The woman who crashed her vehicle into the creek, identified as Pam Burdette, also was taken to the hospital, firefighters said.
