Rain-Related Crashes Wreak Havoc On Bay Area Roadways

Thunderstorms and even hail pounded parts of the Bay Area on Monday evening as the weather system that delivered upwards of an inch of rain in some places early in the day left behind cooler temperatures and residual showers.
Heavy downpours were reported in the late afternoon in Napa County and the East Bay, with flash flood advisories issued in areas farther north scorched by summer wildfires, including much of Lake County .
